Critters (334)

Today is the final drawing for my movie week set of drawings… I made it. It wasn’t actually hard at all, I love so many movies that I think I could keep this going if I really wanted to. Todays drawing is from a movie that I loved as a kid and plan to pick up on DVD soon. Critters!

You can watch the trailer here!

Pumpkinhead (332)

I really like the first Pumpkinhead movie. Even the second one was all right, but they went downhill after that. A classic horror movie worth watching if you haven’t seen it before. It scared the heck out of me when I was younger.

I also sketched this up today. It is a Jack O’ Lantern, I plan on turning this and a couple other sketches into Paper Mache props before Halloween.

SLC punk (331)

Another of my favorite movies. If you have never seen SLC Punk I suggest you go see it fast. It is soooo great, and it was one of the first things I saw Jason Segel(How I Met your Mother) in. Watch it, you will love it no matter who you are. Unfortunately I drew this from memory and later realized Sean was standing on a chair not a box… Oh well. Oh yeah! Just found the link to the full movie on YouTube, so now you have no excuse go here and watch the movie! Hahahahahahahahahaha! Not sure how long that will stay up though, so watch it soon!

Poltergeist (330)

Its been years since I’ve seen this movie, but my wife mentioned that she wanted to see it. So I snatched one off of e-bay and am currently waiting for it to arrive in the mail. I drew this up in preparation to watch the film (hopefully) Friday.

Pump up the volume (329)

Another of my favorite movies is Pump Up the Volume, I drew this drawing about the movie today. It isn’t the best portrait of Christian Slater, but heck I wasn’t using a reference. I looked at a still from the movie and then started drawing without looking back. Plus, my whole reason for starting this project was to be quicker and looser with my drawing. If you have never seen this movie before I suggest you watch it, it is a classic 80’s (maybe early 90’s) flick.

Beetlejuice (328)

Starting today and running till next Sunday I plan to draw and post a drawing from a movie. I have been drawing for 328 days now and for some reason this week’s topic worries me, I am worried I won’t be able to complete it but I know one way or another I will make myself finish. Wish me luck!

Today’s drawing is Beetlejuice from the movie Beetlejuice, it is one of my favorite movies of all time.
