Honest Abe

Not too happy with this drawing. But I can’t be too hard on myself I did it while I was unable to sleep and watching Breaking Bad. I was testing out a couple of new brushes and techniques and am happy that I did. I have no idea why I decided to doodle Abe though.

A house divided against itself cannot stand. – Abraham Lincoln

There is an old saying…

An illustration of these two dudes that have been on TV a lot recently. This was an illustration I had made about how both Romney and Obama support the NDAA and Kill List and that because of that they are both bad choices for America. I don’t really know how I personally stand when it comes to this, because I tend to believe that in the interest of national security maybe the government is withholding evidence. Either way though I think this turned out to be a pretty sweet illustration. I drew Barak Obama and Mitt Romney both as devils to illustrate the topic.

Yeah, I know its been awhile. But I haven’t drawn much with a ballpoint pen since I finished 365 days of drawing with it. I really like drawing with Micron and Faber-Castell pens. But every now and then I suppose I’ll pop back to using a ballpoint. Here is something I sketched up in ballpoint and then finished in Photoshop. I have been watching a ton of horror movies and such recently and Hitchcok stuff is definatly in the rotation. I still plan to write a long “what I learned” piece about my 365 day project, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy this Hitchcock drawing.
